The USS Brinkley Bass DD-887 Association invites Bass Veterans to join. To qualify for membership in the Association the applicant must have served aboard the USS Brinkley Bass (DD-887) between 1945 and 1973 and have been Honorably Discharged or Retired from the U.S. Navy. The Association publishes a newsletter titled 'The Scuttlebutt' on a regular basis. The Association publishes a directory of members, and the Association organizes annual reunions.
